HOURLY RATE

My rate is $250 per hour for all work regardless of complexity. I keep billing straightforward and transparent—there are no additional charges for rush projects, evening work, or weekend assignments. Invoices are provided weekly with clear detail, so your firm always knows exactly what to expect.

GETTING STARTED

We will sign a contract for my services as an independent contractor, and the firm will add me to its professional liability insurance policy so the work I perform on the firm’s behalf is fully covered. This arrangement ensures peace of mind for both the firm and its clients, with the same protections in place as if the work were done in-house. While I assist with specific assignments, the firm remains attorney of record, keeps full control of the case, and makes all legal judgments for its clients.

NEW ASSIGNMENTS

Requesting help is simple. You can reach out as often as you like by sending me an email with the assignment details (parties’ names, a brief description of the task, and the deadline). I’ll complete a conflict check and let you know right away if I can accept the assignment.

Turn around time for most assignments is about one week but more notice is always appreciated so I can do my best to accommodate your needs. I am available during regular business hours and can occasionally work nights and weekends to meet deadlines for any assignment that I have already accepted. I am also happy to work on ex partes, TROs, and other rush projects, as my availability allows.

Every document is prepared on your firm’s pleadings or letterhead with your name, and all work product goes to you for final review and approval. Once finalized, the documents are delivered back to your team for signature, filing, and service.
